CAC Tribal Summit 2025
Our Tribal Summit this year will be held in conjunction with the Vinton Dogwood Festival in Roanoke County, Va. We will be setting up on the walkway by Glade Creek behind the old William Byrd Intermediate school. There is ample parking in the lots and by the walking path. We will have on display local artifacts...some found in the Glade Creek area. We will also be holding tours of the area open to the public where Native Americans have left their mark.
The dates are Friday April 25, with tours at 10am, 1pm and 5pm. And Saturday, April 26th, with tours at 10am and 12n.
At 2pm we will be participating in the Dogwood Festival parade. If you are a member of CAC and have regalia please come and walk in the parade with us!
The Vinton Dogwood Festival will have hundreds coming out from all over SW Virginia. There will be local vendors set up within walking distance of our tribal summit. Later that evening there will be bands, fireworks and other festivities.
